Diagnoses of genera of South East Asia: Stichius (?; ?). Simon
was unable to place with any certainty the male S. albomaculatus described
by Thorell in 1890. Stichius appears to be close to Harmochirus (p.
342). Distribution: Stichius is known only from Sumatra.
General remarks: Most of these genera are known only from south east Asia. Although there are still no habitat details, genitalia and occasionally other drawings are now available for many of them. In the original descriptions and in Simon's salticid classification, mention is sometimes made of close and more familiar relatives. The latter will be discussed in more detail in due course.
