Diagnoses of genera of South East Asia: Genus: Anarrhotus (?; 6). The single male A. fossulatus Simon, 1902 was said to be close to Pancorius. Palp drawn by Proszynski, 1984. Distribution: Anarrhotus is known only from P. Malaysia. Belongs to: Old Monotypic genera. General remarks: Most of these genera are known only from south east Asia. Although there are still no habitat details, genitalia and occasionally other drawings are now available for many of them. In the original descriptions and in Simon's salticid classification, mention is sometimes made of close and more familiar relatives. The latter will be discussed in more detail in due course.
